Japanese Long Thread Snips for Sewing – Blue Super Steel 5"
Made for everyday sewing and thread trimming, these 5-inch Japanese thread snips use a long blade for more cutting reach while keeping the quick, simple handling of traditional thread snips.
The 2.17-inch blade gives noticeably more working length than the Short Blade versions, making it useful for trimming threads as well as small, precise cuts in fabric during sewing and handwork.
At about 5 inches overall, this is the larger Long Blade option in the series. The extra size gives more room in the hand and a longer cutting edge, making it a good choice for makers who prefer a more substantial pair of thread snips for regular sewing work.
The blades are made with Yasuki Blue Super Steel, a Japanese high-carbon steel valued for hardness, wear resistance, and lasting cutting performance. Combined with the longer blade and larger size, it gives this pair a distinctly different feel from the more compact LeGrand thread snips.
