The 1.77-inch short blade keeps the cutting point close for trimming loose threads and thread ends, while the 5-inch overall size gives a little more room in the hand.

What sets this pair apart is the steel. Yasuki Blue Steel is a Japanese high-carbon steel valued for wear resistance and its ability to maintain cutting performance through repeated use.
